Check waste collection schedule

From 6th May 2024, some households will experience a collection day change for residual waste (rubbish) and recycling to improve the efficiency and cut pollution from our collection rounds.

To check your new collection day, please use the postcode tool below. The postcode tool will show you the day your collections will take place from 6th May onwards, along with the date your first rubbish collection will take place in the new schedule.

Please note that some households will see their waste collection move by a week, and those that move back a week would experience 3 weeks between scheduled collections. To solve this problem these households will receive an extra rubbish collection on either the 4th, 5th or 6th May. If you were due a rubbish collection in the week 22nd-26th April, and the postcode tool shows your first collection taking place between 13th and 17th May, then you fall into this category. Mixed recycling and food waste collections remain weekly and there won’t be a gap in collections.
